2021 December Dividends

Final Month of 2021 is in books and I received very good Dividends for this month and this helped me achieve my goal of 11k in Dividends for 2021 .Total Dividends for this month are $2881 and most of them are my from retirement accounts $2881 and this a new Record for December and This pushed my 2021 Dividends to 12.5K for the year. This is almost 1k a  month 

Compared to 2020 December  my dividends were up by $1200 and 71%.Now some of increase came from dividend hikes and other from New investment like LMT,AVGO

Currently the quarter ends are the big numbers  and January seems to be the lowest dividend month for me. I am trying to add more funds if possible .

2022 Dividend Goal: This year I am hoping to achieve 14K in dividends .

2021 September Dividend Report

 Q3 is in books and almost reaching the end of the year  and 82 days left in the year as of 10/10/2021.

 This Month i received $1737  in dividends and this is  good ,Almost  like receiving $60 daily  in dividends

Compared to 2020  dividends increased by $383 , some of them are like increased positions like AVO,MMM,JNJ and some in dividends increase and biggest of them is BBL  like $180 in increased dividends.

Year over September Dividend Growth

2021 Dividend Goal:
This year i had a dividend goal of 11K and so far i received $8500 in dividends and i am at 77% of the goal. I think i am on track  to meet my goal .So far   i received more than 50K in dividends in last 8 years.

September 2020 Dividends

 Q3 Completed  and I have received over $1300 in dividends from Multiple companies  .

Again New record for September even with  dividend cuts in WFC .

Biggest Payers  are DFS,LMT,GILD from stocks and VMCPX from Funds.

Comparisons:
Compared to 2019 September  my dividends went up by 14% which is lot better than decrease.
Looking back its good to see the growth in the dividends reaching 4 digits in 2019 and continuing 2020.






 
2020 Goal: 
I had a goal 11K in dividends for this year, so far i collected 58% of the Goal .It will be difficult unless i add some huge amount of new funds .Lets see where i will end.

2020 BUYS 4 —MMM,AVGO

I have been little busy buying stocks almost weekly.

Buy 2 shares of MMM was executed at an average price of $159.67 on February 13th, 2020 at 10:04 AM.

Buy 1 share of AVGO was executed at an average price of $309.00 on February 18th, 2020 at 10:03 AM.

Buy 2 shares of AVGO was executed at an average price of $306.78 on February 20th, 2020 at 11:34 AM

2/19 8 Shares of DFS at $75.10  .

Non Dividend stock purchases.

2/10 4 shares of AMRN for $71.42

2/10 1 share of LYFT at 52.65

New dividend purchases will add another $64 to  my annual fund.

 

2020 BUYS 3 –WRK,GILD,MMM

I have added the following shares  to my existing positions.

1/23  8  shares of GILD at $63.24

1/28 4 shares of MMM at 168.6

1/31 2 shares of MMM at 159.56

1/31 10 shares of WRK at $38.66

 

Overall close to 1900 invested and this will add another $75 to my dividends .

so what are folks buying these days.

2020 Dividend Hikes -MMM,GILD,PRU,AFL

I have seen another 4 Increases in my portfolio .

GILD increased dividend by 7.9%  to.68 cents and this will add $15.8 to my fund.

PRU announced 10% increase to dividend bringing it to $1.1/share and this will add another $6.67

MMM Increased  dividend by 2% from 1.44 to 1.47 and this will add $2.88

AFL increased dividend by 3.7% from 0.27 to 0.28 and will add .822 to funds.

Overall these 4 dividend increases added $26.14 to my fund.

Overall 7 dividend hikes in 2020 so far  adding $38.5 to total.

 

Recent Purchases —HD,MA,MMM,WRK

I have been small purchases  for the last few days in different accounts.

12/3 5 Shares of CSCO at $44.06

12/3 1 Share of HD at 213.85,this is a new position position,that i will start adding more whenever i have more dollars. This i was able to before the Ex-dividend date,so i will collect the dividend this month.

12/3 1 share of WRK at 39.27

12/4 1 share of MA at 288.1 This is a new position for me.

12/5 1 share of MMM AT 164.73. This i have been averaging Down.

Retirement Accounts

12/3 1 share of GILD at 65.33

12/5 2 shares of WFC at $53.32.

 

All theses new purchases add another $28.46 in annual Dividends.I am keeping an eye  on any of these companies to make purchases before the end of the year. New year if the prices of BA still being lower that will be one of  my Purchases in my Roth IRA.

 

 

 

Recent Purchases —MO,MMM

October  provided some chances to buy  stocks.

On 10/1/19  1 share of MMM was purchased at 158.26

10/3/19  2 shares of MMM were purchased at $151.46.

10/3 /19  8 shares of MO @ 40.40  were purchased.

 

These purchases will bring my total MMM shares to 17 . Both these purchases will add another $43 to my account.

 

Recent Transactions

In the last  few weeks market presented quite a few chances to average down on some of the companies  in my account.

So i Bought 3 T @ 33.55  on 8/5.

8/5 Added 1 share of MMM at 167.27

8/23 Added 1 share of MMM at 156.47

These will add another $17 to my account.

Due to multiple credit card spending requirements for meeting Bonus ,i have to slow it down  on the buying till i accumulate cash in my account.These Credit card bonus have paid for my Recent Vacation in orlando . Flights were on american airlines deals,hotels were hyatt card and  Universal and legoland were Sweepstakes Wins.

In other news my current company is acquired by a much bigger Company . With this they stopped deductions from paycheck for 401k. My older company didn’t have any matching programs.Newer Company has 3% matching. So hopefully will try to max out matching by the end of the year.

 

 

Recent Buy –KR,MO,MMM

In the last few Days i added the following Positions in my account. All of them are existing ones ,KR is one of my smallest position .

14 Shares of KR added at $22.29 including commision of $4.95 .This will bring total shares to 24 shares and Will add another $8.96 to my account.

1 Share of MMM at $169.9 ,will bring total shares to 10 . This will add another $5.76 to my account.

2 Shares of MO at $48.9 will bring total shares in all accounts to 31.   This will add another $ 6.40

I will be watching ABBV for final purchase in my roth IRA account.  All these purchase will add another $20 to the account. These small purchases are slowly making impact on the account.
